1930s Industrial Task Lamp By John Dugdill & Co
1930s Industrial Task Lamp By John Dugdill & Co
1930s Industrial task lamp by British lighting company John Dugdill & Co. This task lamp was salvaged from AVRO's BAE Chadderton plant near Oldham, Lancashire home of the famous AVRO Lancaster Bomber.
In amazing working condition, a Bakelite toggle switch had been connected to it to turn it on & off so we have restored that switch & kept the lamp as we found it. This lamp was originally fixed to work surfaces, walls & even the ceiling in the AVRO factory. We have fixed it to a heavy base so that it can easily be used as a table lamp, but it can also be removed from its base & fixed to any surface using the guide holes.
Cleaned, rewired & PAT safety tested ready to go. This lamp uses a B22 bayonet fitting bulb. This lamp is supplied with a B22 bayonet LED light bulb.
Height 58cm, Width ( Shade ) 18cm, Depth 39cm.
