1930s Wall / Worktop Machinists Lamp By Simplex

1930s wall or work surface mountable 3 arm industrial machinists task lamp by British lighting company Simplex.

Simplex lamps & lighting were produced by The Simplex Electric Company a very well known manufacturer of lighting based in Birmingham & Oldbury.

In amazing working condition with the trademark cast iron & enamel shade, cast iron base with original toggle switch & still in original paintwork. The base is such that this lamp can be mounted as a table or wall lamp & it comes wired in twisted burgundy cable. This lamp was originally fixed to walls & worktops in factory's & workshops to be moved as needed to illuminate work areas.

Expertly restored & completely cleaned, rewired & PAT safety tested ready to go. We have rewired this light with an external cable & plug, if desired it can be fitted intravenously (by a professional electrician) so that the cable is hidden in the wall or under a work surface.

This lamp uses a B22 bayonet fitting bulb. This lamp is supplied with a B22 bayonet LED light bulb.
