Industrial work stool made in Britain by what was later known as Evertaught, this stool is an earlier version & was made under the Brooks name.

Steel lacquered frame with its original ply wood seat which has been beautifully restored & waxed. Completely cleaned & made ready for home or office use.

Evertaut was established in 1933 by JB Brooks & Co of Birmingham, a manufacturer of leather bicycle saddles and accessories, and founder of the Antler luggage brand. It is set up as a separate division to make modernist furniture from tubular steel. With cutting edge designs and quality workmanship, Evertaut earned a reputation as specialists in seating and becomes a market leader, supplying a wide range of well-known institutions such as the GPO and London Airport as well as factories and workplaces across the UK.

 

Many of the items we have for sale are all from what we refer to as " Real Life ", they were all made for use & purpose. There will always be signs of use & aging which we think gives each item its individuality & personal charm. We clean & repair but we always try our best to keep everything in its original state. We will always give you a good idea of condition & especially highlight anything that we consider may have aesthetic or structural concern.
