1950s Octaginal Hand Carved Walnut Turkish Table.

1950s octaginal side table hand made & carved from walnut in Kahraman Maras a city close to the Syrian border in South Eastern Turkiye.

This style of octaginal table is typical to many countries in the Middle East, however this one is taller than usual. The reason for it being taller is these were especially used for gas lamps to illuminate the room.

In good condition, some small cracking & spliting in places but nothing serious ( please see pictures ).
