1950s Solid Afromosia & Teak Sideboard By John Herbert For A Younger Ltd

1950s sideboard designed by renowned British designer John Herbert for British furniture makers A Younger Ltd. Part of the ' Forsenca ' range made from afromosia & teak to give subtle tone distinctions.

A Younger Ltd were British mid century leaders in the 1950s & 1960s, producing low volume, high end pieces. One of the first to be influenced by its Scandinavian contemporaries & that can be seen in this fabulous sideboard.

Expertly restored & in exceptional condition, 4 drawers in the centre top drawer lined in green felt with adjustable compartments for cutlery. Compartment on either side with shelves & beautiful round chunky teak handles.
