Oil on board a regional British school coastal landscape dated on the rear as July 1977 & signed C.S.Neatby.

This painting is highly likely tied to the prominent Neatby family of British artists. While the family patriarch William James Neatby (1860–1910) & his son Edward Mossforth Neatby (1888–1949) are the most widely recorded in national archives, other family members were also active landscape painters who routinely produced coastal views.

The painting is in great condition, salvaged from an estate clearance, (please look closely at the pictures to get a better idea).
