The CL-30 Copper Light is a pendant light designed by David Derksen Design (developed in collaboration with Frank Van Den Breemer).
Design & construction made from a thin 0.3 mm copper sheet folded & assembled by hand in the Netherlands, featuring 30 etched facets that reflect light and surroundings in tones from dark brown to red & orange. By reflecting its surroundings, each facet gets a different tone.
David Derksen is a Dutch designer whose work explores the properties & behaviour of materials. He graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2009 & went on to complete a master's degree in Industrial Design at TU Delft. Based in Rotterdam, Derksen designs lighting, furniture & interior objects that often sit at the intersection of industrial design & experimental projects. He also works as the creative director of WL Ceramics & teaches as a visiting lecturer at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.

Cleaned, rewired with black fabric cable & PAT tested safe & ready to go, this lamp uses a E27 standard screw fitting bulbs & is supplied with a crown copper mirror topped E27 LED light bulb usually sold separately for £25 each.
