A very rare matching pair of campaign, faux bamboo, folding wash stands. British made from the early 1800s, most likely used during the Napoleonic wars.
The quality of the carving & mechanisms are of exceptional quality.
The top 3 points have their original beautifully aged brass tips which would have supported a bowl in place.
The circular base is hand turned mahogany, one has bowed slightly in time ( please see pictures ).
Stands are in very good condition and can be used for all sorts of displays ie vases, plants or small statues.
Completely cleaned & waxed made ready for home or office use.
