Early 1900s fire hose cabinet from the famous Leigh Spinners mill in Leigh Greater Manchester.
There was one of these cabinets on every floor of the mill. They are in great totally original condition, with their origiinal hand made & hand painted glass doors.
We salvaged them cleaned & waxed them & added a glass shelf so they can be used as cabinets in the home or place of work.
Leigh Spinners or Leigh Mill is a Grade 1 listed former cotton mill in Leigh Greater Manchester, England. After being disused for many years, one of the mill buildings has been redeveloped into a community hub with 80 independent businesses and a Heritage Centre. The mill is currently operated by the Leigh Building Preservation Trust.
