Early 1900s Large Traditional Hand Carved Wooden Japanese Bowl

Large antique Japanese hand carved wooden bowl. This bowl dates from around the early 1900s & is carved from a single large piece of wood probably a fruit wood. The bowl has had a good life, its in good condition with a crack which has been repaired in the traditional way with metal repair pin in the rim. The bowl has aged beautifully showing visible signs of age.

Height 14cm, Width 51cm x 49cm.
