Hand Made Boat Makers Diorama Circa 1980s

Circa 1980s hand made framed boat makers diorama, these are made when a customer wants a boat built to order. The boat maker will make a framed diorama for the customer to approve & keep to go with their new bought boat.

This particular example was made by renowned boat builder Stephen Dennett who also built the actual boat.

We salvaged this sign from the famous Dennetts boat yard in Chertsey Surrey. Dennetts boat yard founded by Michael Dennet & now run by Stephen Dennett is very famous for its boat building & especially their boat restorations of WW2 boats. Including very famous WW2 era tug boats which traveled from the Thames out onto open waters to rescue solders stranded on the beaches of Dunkirk.

Condition is very good ( please see pictures ).
