Early 2000s Heals Hidde yaks leather swivel chair designed by Gerard Van Den Berg.
Designed & first made in 2006 for his own Dutch furniture company 'LABEL Vandenberg'. Vandenberg took inspiration from the shape & wrap around comfort of a baseball glove & named it Hidde after his eldest grandson.
The Hidde leather armchair combines the creativity & craftsmanship that only designer Gerard van den Berg brings to the home. Organic in form, this base ball glove like design encourages you to sink back in comfort, with the luxury of soft aniline leather & contemporary matt chromium swivel base.
- Five point metalic base in matt chromium finish.
- Moulded from an internal frame of strong tubular steel.
- Supportive moulded foam ensures luxurious comfort.
- Upholstered in natural hide semi-aniline leather, (semi aniline leather is real top grain or full grain leather that is first dyed in a drum & then finished with a thin protective surface coating containing a small amount of pigment).
Even though the chair is 20 years old its in amazing condition still with tags & aged perfectly, an unbelievably comfortable chair.
