Large Turkish Hand Made Kilim Rug Circa 1950s

Circa 1950s large Turkish hand made 100% wool kilim rug. This rug is from the southeast Turkish city of Adana. We have a contact who travels central & eastern Anatolia buying old & damaged rugs 

In amazing condition for its age absolutely no damage or repairs. It seems this rug was made but never used, its quite normal for old Turkish households to have multiple rugs that they will rotate use around the house. Some of the rugs never come round to being used as much if at all.
