Very rare 1982 DDR East German propaganda poster produced by Druckerei Neues & designed by renowned German artist Hans-Dieter Gumm. The poster in English reads " Make Sure Peace Stays ! ". Poster depicts a hand holding a mixture of a gun with a wrench, defense with weapon & production & crafts.

Totally original poster in near mint condition, an absolute one off. The only other copy of this poster we could find is on display at the Berlin DDR museum.


The DDR Museum is a museum in the centre of Berlin. The museum is located in the former governmental district of East Germany, right on the river Spree, opposite the Berlin Cathedral. The museum is the 11th most visited museum in Berlin. Its exhibition depicts life in the former East Germany (known in German as the Deutsche Demokratische Republik or DDR).
