Large educational poster circa 1950s by Villiers Engineering.
The poster depicts the workings of the Villiers 197cc Mark 9E two-stroke motor cycle engine.
Villiers Engineering was a manufacturer of motorcycles and cycle parts, and an engineering company based in Villiers Street, Wolverhampton, England. Founded in 1898 Villiers Engineering produced two & four stroke petrol engines as well as four stroke diesel engines right through WW2 & up until the early 1960s when they were bought out by Manganese Bronze Holdings.
In very good condition, some age related marks. Please look closely at pictures.
